For more than a year already, ISECG agencies have engaged in coordinated interaction with the global science communities to articulate the common interests and goals of human and robotic space exploration. The first product of this continuous exchange will be a Science White Paper that highlights the scientific opportunities of early exploration missions. Its contents is largely developed by scientists and its publication is foreseen in summer/fall 2016. For a discussion and consolidation of the SWP key messages and initial draft text, ISECG has joined forces with the COSPAR Panel for Exploration for a joint workshop in Paris on 10-11 February 2016.
